NFL taking hits for brain injuries - sued for wrongful death

While Alaskans may or may not hunker down for Super Bowl weekend with our food, drinks, and party guests to watch the commercials and see some big hits, some fans will be mourning the spectacle instead. Never assume that you don't have a compensable injury claim

If you are injured, whether it be in an auto accident, other motorized vehicle accident, or you sustain an injury that was caused by another person's negligence, never assume that you don't have a claim.  If you are injured in a car accident and somebody else is at fault, that person's auto insurance should provide coverage for your injuries.  Additionally, your own Underinsured Motorist coverage should also provide additional coverage for your injuries.  However, hiring a qualified personal injury attorney to evaluate your coverage and to make sure you follow specific policy provisions that must be followed in order to obtain such coverage, is critical.  If you are not injured in a motorized vehicle accident, but another person's negligence caused your injury, that person's homeowners insurance coverage may compensate you for your injuries.  It is crucial that you speak with an experienced personal injury attorney as soon as possible after your injury so that you do not give up rights you may have under an insurance policy providing coverage for your potential claim.

With Alaskan roads a bit more slick now that they are often covered in ice and snow, it is a good idea to get your brakes tested. It is also a good idea to begin braking further than 30 feet away from where you want to stop.
