Alaska car accident victim may find justice

It can be very hard for victims to move on when they are constantly reminded of a tragic accident. This means that when a trial approaches and there is an end in sight, the victims are often glad it is over. One victim of an Alaska car accident may be starting to have feelings of hope, as the person who supposedly caused the accident he was involved in was indicted recently.

The accident occurred about a year ago when a man drove off the road, hit a light pole and finally stopped near a pedestrian bridge. The crash was so serious that emergency personnel had to physically remove both of the vehicle's occupants after the doors were pried open. The passenger of the vehicle was flown out of state for treatment of their injuries.

Even though the accident happened close to a year ago, the passenger is still receiving treatment out of state. The driver was indicted on felony assault charges because of his involvement in the accident. The current condition of the victim is unknown.

Even though the Alaska victim may feel relieved because their long journey could be ending soon, they might still have the right to seek monetary compensation for the injuries that they suffered due to the car accident. This could be used to pay for the hospital bills that the victim accrued because of their injuries, along with other expenses that cannot be paid if they are out of work. Compensation can often relieve massive amounts of stress and allow the victim to focus on healing and returning to a normal life.
